Good holidays are memorable. Families relax and share valuable time together. Sunshine, good food and wine and great experiences.
If relaxation is your main priority, this villa in Portugal is the perfect place. From the moment you wake up to bird song in the morning to the late night chirping of crickets, the gardens around Quinta de Agriboa allow you to chill out and unwind.
Sunbathe at the poolside, sip a chilled wine in the shade or enjoy a leisurely walk through the local vineyards. Quinta de Agriboa is a Portuguese Paradise.
If you want a bit more action, the stunning Costa Verde region – from the national park to Atlantic beaches – offers a huge variety of activities including: Ballooning, canoeing, climbing, fishing, golf, surfing, swimming, walking.
Foodies and wine lovers will love this region. Local chefs have the best of produce to work with. The quality of the local wines, most of which are unknown outside Portugal, complements the food beautifully.
Friends have phoned me in a panic when they went to buy wine in the local supermarket. They didn’t recognise any of the labels as they browsed the shelves.
“From €4 upwards they’re all good.” I told them confidently. No one rang back to contradict me.
Whether you prefer to eat out or cook at home, you will be spoilt for choice by the quality of fish, meat and vegetables on the “Green Coast”.
Local restaurants offer extremely high quality meals at a fraction of the cost in the rest of Europe. Our best so far is €93 for a group of 11 for a two course lunch, including wine. And the good news; Resturante Socorro is within walking distance of the villa.
Quinta de Agriboa is a perfect destination for a holiday with friends and family.
Rhoda, Mairi and I believe that we have found one of the most beautiful, relaxing and friendly parts of Europe.
We will update the blog regularly to let you know what’s happening in the area.
